The Night of Museums and Galleries is a European event coordinated by the Council of Europe with a goal of presenting our cultural heritage and the importance of its preservation and protection while providing the opportunity of cultural exchanges and spreading information about the cultural diversity of individual countries and regions of Europe during these informal learning sessions. Nitra Gallery started holding the Night of Museums and Galleries in 2010.
