Ensemble Ricercata have established themselves as a respected musical ensemble which can always surprise the listener with something new and valuable. Since its inception, the main idea has been to make domestic and international chamber music more accessible and popular by coming up with attractive concert concepts. The ensemble, which took the name Ricercata (from Italian “ricercare” – search, explore, examine, seek, etc.) has fulfilled it rightfully. Every year they search, explore, examine – various works, both “old” and new ones.

Helga Varga Bach is a highly sought after performer engaged in domestic and international chamber ensembles. She has cooperated with leading world class conductors performing as a soloist in vocal and instrumental compositions by A. Vivaldi, J. S. Bach or  W. A. Mozart and many others.

The violinist David Danel (CZ) keeps looking for ways how to sneak violin into new media and occasionally cooperates with dancers, choreographers, fine artists and speakers.

Ronald Šebesta is one of Slovakia’s leading clarinet players. His musical interests related to contemporary music have led him to co-founding the VENI ensemble for contemporary music.

Concert pianist, teacher, author of a vast number of musical projects, organiser of not just international festivals or concert series – our perennial star, Ivan Šiller.

Dramaturgy of the concert is in the hands of names like Darius Milhaud, Erik Satie, Claude Debussy, Robert Kolář and Janáček.
