Structural optical relief I.

Štrukturálny optický reliéf I./ Structural optical relief I. is an object created from metal and glass. It consists of a simple metal circle and semi-circle rasters that are overlapping and multiplying each other. Due to the composition of the basic geometric shapes and the reflex surface of the metal the author is creating an illusion of the three dimensional space and the virtual movement. The important part, while observing this relief, is that it engages theviewertoparticipate. According to the fact, how the position of the viewer is being changed, the imaginary movement is created in the structure of the pattern, which is being changed as well.
