This catalogue includes text and picture documentation of thirteen exhibitions and art projects that took place in 2016 in the exhibition spaces Youth Gallery and Bunker. These offer an opportunity for the presentation of both young and emerging artists and curators, as well as a space for experimentation with various forms of art. 

The projects were selected on the basis of the annual open call in which Nitra Gallery offers the opportunity to show the diversity of expressions of contemporary visual art from Slovakia and abroad.

The Youth Gallery offered three solo shows of promising Slovak artists, an exhibition of experimental printmaking by an unconventional artistic duo, a collective presentation of young printmakers from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, and a solo exhibition by a British artist and a bartender in one person. 

Visitors to the Bunker have experienced three individual exhibitions of promising young Slovak artists, a one-day show of experimental performances, a presentation of students from the Department of Creative Arts and Art Education at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, a group exhibition dealing with the question of whether art needs to be explained and a show by a Czech art group of three painters.

The bilingual (English-Slovak) catalogue is divided into two parts, each of which is dedicated to one of the exhibition spaces.
