The catalog was published on the occasion of the exhibition We’ll Try It through Space, which took place in the Representative Halls of the Nitra Gallery from December 6, 2013 until February 2, 2014.

The international exhibition project was a curatorial selection of various artistic approaches that included photography, videos, objects, sound and interactive installations, or even real research equipment. Based on several distinctive works, some of which were created especially for this show, the exhibition tried to raise a number of inquisitive questions and maybe even offer possible answers related to topics about the universe. One of the issues the exhibition dealt with was the so-called “escapism” or the getaway from earthly problems into the seeming safety of the distant universe. The exhibition, however, tried to offer also a different point of view on our life here on Earth.

Colorful, 16-page exhibition catalog in the form of a newspaper titled The Cosmos Times offers news and articles about the universe from various fields, a selection of curiosities from home and abroad, an insight into the world of fashion, columns on mystery and entertainment, where reality is blurred with fiction like in a good sci-fi movie. Includes a special insert; cut-out Space Barbie.
