The exhibition SEN/o contains a play on words. It is linked to the primary material that the students employ in their works. Hay is fragile, temporary,  yet malleable and rich in meaning. Hay is a mown summer meadow, the romance of the Christmas nativity, Sun, Hay, Strawberries [Slovak cult comedy film] and other cult classics, but also hay fever, drudgery in the stable, animal farm… In hay, one can dream a dream of a world without wars and dictatorships. Who knows what such a dictator dreams of? Everyone must write with a blue pen, four legs good, two legs bad, Big Brother is watching you. Every Orwell has his era in human history. And are we not, by chance, living through one of them right now?
