The contemporary architecture of Western Slovak
The contemporary architecture avail of the most modern technologies and materials that architects inventivelly use in the realizations concerning residential objects, interiors, organizations of expositions and design, industrial parks, sacral buildings, reconstructions of important historical and cultural heritage or very important part of environment – realizations of leisure and pedestrian zones in terms of landscape planning.
The aim and intention of this exhibition is the presentation of the work of architects of Western Slovak who have a share in „creating and aesthetic appearance“ of beautiful Slovakia. At the same time the exhibition wants to reveal the anonymity of buildings, architecture of parks, beforementioned pedestrian zones that we are passing by and walking round. We admire the inventive and sensitive solution to it in relation to surrounding residential and historical buid-up area. But we do not know who is the author. I think that it would be right to put a name of the author on these objects and historical buildings. As a matter of fact they deserve it – not only the authors but also the buidings and the public.
